So a few of the other groups I am members of have FB pages...Do we have one?  Would anyone like to start one?  I just know I am on FB much more than on here.  Just an idea.

    I'm good with both... but probably prefer TMI Tuesdays and Flaming Fridays here.  And it should be a closed group.  I don't want things I could say to be read by others that I'm not friends with ... or if I'm venting about certain people I wouldn't want them to somehow be able to read it.  The privacy settings are constantly failing on Facebook.

    All Facebook pages are public. I can make us a group, but the groups don't have as much functionality as a page. Thoughts? For those of you who have FB pages/groups for other boards, how do they opperate?

    I am not opposed to Facebook, but my work has it blocked so I can't get on while at work. Whereas I can get on The Knot all day because it isn't blocked here at work.

    Agreed.  I'm kinda keeping my wedding quiet from family because my cousin is kind of a copy cat.

    I'm going to agree with all of this.  And yes, I'm good with FB...I'd actually been thinking about this same thing lol.

    How about this: we'll keep everything the same here, but the FB wall can be for sharing, chatting, etc about whatever you want to say publicly. I like that the FB page is kept public, because I think it will grow our community as a whole. There might be some overlap in terms of questions asked (I'm not a machine, people!) and info shared, but I don't really see that as being a problem.

    Keep the opinions coming!

    Not that I care that much but if you make it as one of the "groups" you can make it closed to the public (one so other people on friends list cant see if we post pics and things) and you have to be aproved to get in so we wont have strangers.  I can work on it if you want but dont want to set on any toes MP.  That is how most of the mom groups I am in do it.

    Personaly I think it should be closed to the public.  Who knows what kinda weridos will come on.  Plus def dont want my In Laws to be seeing me bytch about them or whatever.  All the moms groups I am in are closed groups.  Just my thoughts.....
