Help w/ venue!

Hey there! I have looked all over these forums for the perfect venue but it seems I cant have a venue with all my criteria!
I want to spend under 1000 with all their fees, bring in my own food and alcohol, able to have the ceremony outside with an the reception inside. Nothing super fancy. My fiance doesn't want a chapel either. Please help! Anything is appreciated!

Your profile says you are getting married in June 2014. You don't want an outside ceremony. That being said, did you look at Winfrey Point or Texas Discovery Gardens? Also there is a list below of venues that allow outside catering.

Well we were planning on moving to a cooler state therefore a june wedding would be gorgeous, however that's not the case anymore. We are thinking of staying in texas and based on the venue we find will set a date, but it looks like it will be this year. I've heard a lot about those venues but its hard to grasp the wedding aspect when the websites don't show any wedding related pictures since they are parks. Ill have to visit them

if you use the google image option, you can find lots of pictures of weddings at winfrey point.

Yeah Google "name of venue wedding" and images as well as photography blogs will come up.

Have you considered a restaurant reception? Everything would be done for you. Many restaurants don't charge for the room, just for the F&B. I really don't know of anything cheaper than Winfrey Point.

The Heard Natural Science Museum would be within your criteria and you can bring in your own food and alcohol. It is in Fairview, near McKinney. They provide tables and chairs. The windows are pretty, but you have to get pretty creative in sprucing it up for your wedding. I have seen some pretty events there though http://www.heardmuseum.org/attractions/rental-science.asp

I did see that too! the inside looks nice but I guess im looking for a bigger outside portion for my ceremony but I wont know completly how big it is until i visit. keep the places coming! lol

The deck, which is included with the rental of the Natural Science Center, would fit your guest count. With the inside, it will seat 50 nicely with a dancefloor (you will have to bring that in though).

Try Stone Creek Terrace or Magnolia Terrace (opening this spring). Google either of them, they are outside and I believe Magnolia Terrace can accomodate an indoor reception.
