Hooray the dress fits!

Today is the day I was suppose to pick up my dress from the alterationist in Orlando. Well she closes at 3:00pm and I didn't get done with school in Gainesville till 1:00pm. So I thought I would have enough time because normally it should only take about 1.5 hours to get there... Well traffic was horrible and I was getting off my exit at 3:00pm. I called her and asked her if she could wait ten more minutes because I was really close.  Luckily she said yes!

I picked up my dress and it fits like a glove! I am so excited :D Also I got my shoes finally and the whole outfit looks stunning, I can't wait till the big day.

Does anyone have any stories they want to share about their dress?

    I am so happy for you! My story was I went to try it on and it did NOT fit!!! I had been losing weight and so in Dec. when I ordered it, I decided to go a couple sizes smaller...well between Dec and March the weight loss slowed and it was kind of an out of sight, out of mind situation. Well when the shop owner started showing me other dresses in my size that she had in the store I was devastated!!! I wanted MY dress!!! So for the next week I was reigiously going to the gym everyday and eating healthy and when I came back the next weekend, she couldnt' beleive the difference I had made in that one week!!! We were actually able to corset up the dress. She said if I kept it up, she wouldn't need to alter it at all. It has been two weeks and I have lost about 15lbs and can't wait for my fitting on Monday!!!! I think it will fit so much better! Just wish I had been this motivated BEFORE the dress came in!! So, hopefully I will have a good ending to my story like you did!!!
