  I got my wedding invitations done at Starshaped Press in Chicago which includes custom design.  I got my baby announcements done by Twin Ravens Press in Eugene Oregon.  I highly recommend both for modern design and flexibility.  Please check out their webites for samples of their work!

  I designed most of my paper stuff myself and bought my materials off paperandmore.com. However I did have an Etsy seller design my actual invite because it needed more than what I could do. Her turnaround is crazy fast and she will either do a digital image so you can print yourself or have her print them for you.

  I am using Sarah Drake Design.  I went more classic, but she does really modern things, and she is FANTASTIC!

  I went to Papyrus at Oak Brook mall. We got our invitations from the new modern "Checkerboard" brand book. The invitations were black, but it was the envelop that made the big statement. They were about $1500 for 125 of them, to give you and idea on pricing. And, they were really really fast with our order. We didn't wait more than 2-3 weeks to get them in.

  Go to www.weddingpaperdivas.com The have a whole section devoted to the theme you describe. I got all my stuff there and I LOVED it!  Plus, I didn't have to go anywhere to look at their selections, I did it all from home, they edited it for etiquette and grammar, sent a digital proof, and my order arrived less than 10 days later.

  We're going with FUN Cards and Gifts in Glenview.  Amazing selection! I think they have every company and book imaginable, and they give 20% off.  Rob and Val are very friendly and easy to work with, and they really know their product.
