$5000 wedding in Sacramento?

I feel like I've exhausted all venues and possibilities in Sacramento for my budget. I'm beginning to wonder if it is even possible to do with a guest list of 75 or fewer. Please let me know if you are in the Sacramento area and were able to stick to a similiar budget, and tell me how you did it! I would appreciate it!

    I'm in the stockton area. I looked at places in Sacramento. 

    I think if you are willing to drive a bit a nice place in that price range is the Micke Grove Japanese Garden in Lodi. The rent is cheap, its good for 75 and the ballroom they have there has all the stuff and you can bring your own caterer in.

    I didn't look a lot in Sacramento, but what about a public park? They do weddings at Land Park and Elk Grove Regional Park, and I'm sure more do as well. You can also have your ceremony at the rose garden in capitol park.

    Restaurants can also be an affordable alternative. We're having our reception at one (in Santa Cruz, though) and it fit easily into our $10K budget. I know yours is smaller but I bet you could find one that's affordable. GL

    Try La Provence in Roseville. I believe they do Sunday weddings only which deterred me but I remember their prices being very affordable. Check it out. Its beautiful there!

    the capital rose gardens downtown are free for weddings, also check into community centers around town, usually they can be reserved for less than 100 dollars and some of them are actually very nice since they have recently been remodeled

    check out the citizen hotel in downtown Sac. I was impressed with the prices and the fact that it was with a plated dinner. I also am using a DJ I found that is helping out us brides in a tighter budget cause he knows how the times are bad. and TRP just started doing a photo booth rentals and are doing them for $495 so good luck.
