Cubs Rooftop for BParty

Hi Ladies! I am helping plan a bachelorette party and we are planning to go to a cubs rooftop game the weekend of labor day. The one quote we got is around $100 per person (about 10 people) for tickets, unlimited food and drink from an hour before the game through the 7th inning. $100 per person seemed like a LOT of money to me, but I have never been to a rooftop game. Is this the norm for them?
Thanks!

That actually sounds like on the cheaper side for rooftop in Wrigley. I have seen tickets be around $200. I think you are getting a reasonable deal. I was invited to a birthday rooftop thing and it was a little more than $100.

I'm not sure what they usually go for, but I have seen the rooftop tickets on Groupon several times for around 50-60 per person. Maybe be on the lookout for that?

I'd definitely look on YouSwoop and Groupon - you can get them for less.  Being a holiday weekend, that might be tough, but you never know.

Did you know you can get Cubs tickest for CHEAP?  It might be worth just getting some from stubhub.  We are going that weekend and they were for as little as $2 for the ticket.  I've gone with a bachelorette party before - we all wore the same shirts (not in red or blue - a color that stands out in the crowd) and we had a BALL!  After we went to Cubby Bear and having those shirts got us and the bride SO much attention.   It was a blast and honestly that's the one part of the bachelorette party that we talk about the most - the dancing after the game.

    have fun!

Ditto checking You Swoop or Groupon for rooftop tickets--I swear I just saw some the other day.....

The Cubs suck this year and the rooftops are hurting- they are overcharging you. A couple of years ago, $100 was a good price, but they are usually offering less now. I also recommend Stubhub for the game tickets- if you go to bars before/after, you won't be spending much money at the game.

    Youswoop had tix last week.

$100 or under would be a fair price.  Some of our guy friends did a bachelor party earlier in the year and paid $230/person for their tickets, granted it included top shelf liquor.

I've been to several rooftop games and have never paid more than $105 for a ticket.
Is everyone attending big drinking on beer?  I honestly feel like it's the only time you get your money's worth.  Most dont include mixed drinks, and several do include wine.  However, maybe it's just me, but I can only handle so much wine at a time.  Otherwise, like pp suggested, it may be cheaper to just buy actual game tix and pay for drinks.

I am the same way, especially during the day in the hot August sun! Most of the girls are beer drinkers so we will be okay there. The groupon was $85, so I think our deal is okay.

    Thanks for your help ladies!
