So this has been a long time coming as I was married in September, but here are the vendors I used and they were all AMAZING!!
Venue-The Abbey
This is now a church, but they were incredibly reasonable in their pricing and use of the space. There weren't insane rules about what music you should play etc. It is great for someone looking for that old gothic church feel without using a church that is so huge that it still looks empty when your entire wedding party is present.
Photography-Kelly Lewis from Kelly is Nice
Kelly is AMAZING! Her work is truly one of a kind and each picture she took looks like it came straight from a fairy tale book. I still go to her site just to see what's new that she's been working on. Plus, she really is nice! She also did a boudoir shoot for me that blew my (and my husbands) mind!
Flowers- Roots and Blooms by Ednita
Ednita has a vision that I can't describe. She's beyond creative and made my wedding look awesome, even though we were on a budget. Plus, she was very upfront and honest about what we should do and how we should prioritize.
Wedding Planner-Laura Fahm with My Lasting Impressions
My wedding day would have been a wreck without Laura! She really came through for me when I needed it most! I feel like a lot of wedding planners can almost make things MORE stressful, but with Laura it was the exact opposite.
I did have some run ins with some vendors I wasn't too fond of, but nothing terrible. All in all I think the best advice I can give would be to CHECK THE RATINGS! If you are worried about a vendor, or even if you're not, look them up on here, weddingbee.com, weddingwire.com, yelp etc. Unhappy brides talk about why they are unhappy! Also, be leary of "good reviews" that are simply that company posting themselves. Look at the dates, if they haven't had a comment in two years and then have ten the same day that are all stellar, it's probably something you should stay away from.
If I can be of any additional help, please feel free to message or email me! Meaganethomas@gmail.com. Thanks!
