Looking for venues

I'm an out of state bride looking for a neat older home, B and B, or other vintage building in lower MD for my wedding/reception for about 75 people. Can be located outside of Baltimore in any direction, East Shore, or south near St. Mary's. Would also love to hear recommendations on photographers and wedding cakes as well. I'm trying to pull this off from several states away and I'm not familiar with the area.
Thanks!

I would recommend checking out the Gramercy Mansion just outside of Baltimore. It's a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. I had looked there myself. =)

I know you can also rent out the old State House in St. Mary's county. It's got a gorgeous view of the water and would be perfect for a small ceremony and reception. If I were having a smaller wedding, that's where mine would be.

Mary's Hope in St. Mary's also has a lot of good reviews. Elegant home on the water.

Good luck! Let us know how the search goes!

Photographer recommendation: Jen Lowe!!!! She is absolutely fantastic. I have a few of my professional pictures in my profile (the Mrs. link under my siggy pic), in addition to vendor reviews. Best of luck with planning!

I'm having mine at Gramercy Mansion. In addition to the B&B, they have an area for the ceremony out back that overlooks a valley and the area is surrounded by beautiful flowers (they'll be in bloom for our wedding on 5/29). The terrace on the back can also be used as a backup ceremony location if it rains. It's so beautiful - I can't wait! www.gramercymansion.com
