I an at the hospital with my mom. My dad's health has been deteriorating for awhile now. We received a call from the nursing home this morning that he was being transferred to the hospital due to a very high fever and breathing difficulty.
When I arrived at the hospital and saw him my heart dropped. He is struggling to breathe.
The ICU doctor told us that his right lung was completely blocked due to pneumonia and that his left lung was what is helping him now. Eventually it will give out. My dad is very sick. I feel so helpless.
I needed to write this and ask for prayers for my dad and my family as we deal with this. We are hurting.
