Thanks for all the best wishes and prayers ladies I had a great day! Everything went as smooth as could be expected, with only a few minor mishaps that probably only I noticed.
My sister-in-law (who was a reader in our wedding) apparently was running late and just barely beat me down the aisle. I heard someone come in the front doors as I was about to walk in with my dad (there was a screen to hide us from view) and was like seriously someone is just now arriving, and when I walked in and saw it was my sister-in-law and her kids I just had to laugh. Apparently the church wedding coordinator also made a great pass as she tossed SIL her flower pin as she rushed into the church. All the groomsmen commented on it later.
Other issues were so minor there are barely wroth mentioning. If you remember my music director stress, I was so thankful that she showed up and all the right music got played and she had a beautiful voice. She sang a different memorial acclamation than was printed in the programs (and that we had confirmed with her a few days before) but oh well we had music! At the reception there was also supposed to be white drapery behind the head table that didn't get put up but again no one noticed but me and the groom.
It was also really hot in St. Louis last weekend and all the bridal party was sweating in the church even though we had air-conditioning (especially the groom, our priest even made a joke about it and the best man was handing him tissues to wipe his forehead). Our guests told us it was cooler in the church depending on how far back in the pews you were, but we were definitely hot up front! We also managed to get a few pictures outside and were thankful for the cool air-conditioning at the reception site.
So now for pictures!
Me and my dad. I was so happy with how my bouquet turned out! Our florist was awesome!

Vows

Bad Picture of us, but I wanted to brag about my five year old cousin who was an awesome flower girl! She walked down the long aisle by herself with no issues. Her pacing was better than a lot of the adults and she even remembered to bow before getting into the second pew with her parents. She rocked it!

First Dance

Our DJ was great and people were on the dance floor all night! Also near the end of the night my aunts and cousins came and told me that we needed to play the chicken dance because that was the only song grandpa would come out and dance for. So I had to tell the DJ it was okay to play the song and they got grandpa to come dance. I am really hoping my photographer got some good pictures because it was super cute.
Our reception was in the Magic House, which is a children's museum. The kids were able to play in some of the exhibits and we got tons of compliments from the kids and parents alike. My husband's cousin who is about 10 and has been to quite a few weddings told us ours was the best wedding reception ever (and kids don't lie right?)!
Also some of you may remember I was stressed about the timing of my cycle for the wedding night since we have been waiting for almost 5 years (and I'm not so patient, haha) . Maybe TMI but I was so blessed, the last day of my period was the day before the wedding and we were able to take advantage of a dry day at the beginning of my cycle for our wedding night.
We stayed two nights in a bed and breakfast in St. Louis and traveled back to Maryland yesterday. Today it is back to work, and the plan is to do a big trip in December when we can take more time off.
I am so happy to be married and I had a blast. Everyone is right it went so fast!
Finally. We have one professional photo back as a preview. More to come hopefully this weekend!
