LOL! Saturday we went to a going away party for my FI and one of the girls aske me what I'm wearing under the dress. I said panties. Apparently that isn't enough?

What else do you need to wear??
I'm just planning on wearing panties. We aren't doing the garter toss so no need for that. I don't need to wear spanx or anything like that **pats her back** lol

I'm also having cups put into my dress for added support - but I don't need a bra.

Funny, I was wondering the same thing of all you girls. By no means do I think i will be ok wearing some sexy little outfit under my wedding dress. As if its not hard enough being in a big gown, I will not want some lacy little thing binding up under there. I think I am going to go to VS and find my fav pair of their panties in white (I don't know the exact name of them but they are so comfy its not even right). My dress is a corset so I will be sucked in enough to not need a long bra, and I am having cups sown in to fill the top out so I won't need a bra.

My dress has a sewn in bra. I found these cute blue boy short panties (FI prev said he thinks they are the sexiest underwear so I went looking for those) and had Mrs HisLastName put across the butt in rhinestones. I will also have the garter.

Am I the only one in here thinking of wearing Spanx?? My dress is a slim a line and has a bodice with rouching and I have a fairly flat stomach but I just was figuring everybody wore them. On top is a long line bra strapless dress, 34dd boobs, non negotiable.

My dress is very large and figure flattering (it's also really hot). I'm having cups sewn in (I'm busty at a DD but the dress store said it would be fine) so I will just be wearing underwear and my garter. That's it for me!

I'll bring something sexy/cute for the honeymoon.

I have a longline bra from a friend I'll be wearing. Recently at my fitting though they told me I could save a lot of money if I bought a crinoline slip to flare my mermaid bottom out more instead of getting it hemmed so I'm looking for one of those second hand. I'll have the garter and was going to go with fishnets which FI loves but I think it'll be too busy down there so I may just save those for the suite once we get upstairs! I find almost any underwear comfortable because I'm a panty line phobe and refuse to leave the house in anything but a thong. So I may go with some crazy sexy underwear (I have a crotchless thong FI loves) as a treat for him during the garter toss because I know his hands will find their way to go too far (though I told him absolutely NO head under the dress....I hate that).

Not an option for me. My dress is backless, and the top of my spanx showed when I tried it out in my last fitting.

This whole thing has me a little worried, not gonna lie. My stomach is my most sensitive area when it comes to my feelings about my body, so not a fan of not being able to do spanx.

Also, for the ladies talking boobs, I'm a D and with the backless dress my sister is sewing in one of those bras that actually sticks to you. Really worried this isn't going to be enough support but she keeps assuring me it will look great...

I've worn a stick on bra before, it works well if your dress is tight and helps hold it in place. It hurts a lot to take off though.

I'm wearing spanx and possibly a long line bra. I haven't gone in for my first fitting yet, so I have to figure out if there is a way to hold my boobs up without the long line bra! but, I'm wearing spanx for SURE!

Im wearing spanx long shorts, and a strapples bra (which I still need to get)

I need the spanx because its super fitted at my stomach, and if i Dont wear it there is this weird indent fromt my stomach/belly button, with the spanx everything is smooth and tiny, if I can lose the last 5 pounds i may change my mind and not wear them, but we will see... my dress just BARELY fits, and would fit better if i lost that last little bit, if i dont the spanx do a good job faking it

I'm debating - my dress has boning built into it, so I doubt any Spanx would make a bit of difference. The debate is panties and bra - I'm thinking of wearing Spanx underwear if only for the thigh-hugging appeal to keep from chafing while dancing! Also, I think I might wear stick-on bra just in the off chance my breasts decide to pop out of the top of my gown, at least my nipples would be covered! Plus I need a little bit of 'oomf' to fill out the top of the dress appropriately, so a stick-on push-up is probably necessary!

I will be rocking my long line bra ddd's are no joke and I plan on letting loose come reception. I'll have a crinoline for the ceremony and possibly spanks and a comfy pair of panties for sure!!! Good luck to FI helping me get out of it all.

I am planning on just a cute pair of panties and garter. My seamstress is my 2nd cousin who has been doing wedding gown alterations for 25+ years. She said she can put puckers in on the stomach area to make it lay smooth if there are any problems. She will also be sewing in cups. My dress is a corset back. She has worked with many Alfred Angelo dresses and says they are made very well so she may not have to do much to the abdominal area.

I've got all kinds of infrastructure happening under the dress.
I've got a strapless padded bra (because sadly I'm lacking in the breasteses department), spanx and a slip. I've got some special panties too, they're the only thing that's just pretty and isn't utilitarian. lol
