I'm looking for a DJ the one I have my heart set on is a little out of our price range. I'm not very picky and am not good a descions so someone with alot of great ideas and to tell me what to do more than ask me what songs I want played while ppl are eating I dont care I just want a good MC and awesome DJ I am getting married on New years eve so an awesome DJ is crucial.  any help would be appreciated :)

    I would recommend Brad with Queen City DJs or Mark McFadden BUT no matter who you choose, they will probably be more expensive since you are getting married on New Year's.

    Have you tried craigslist?  There are a lot on there, and they seem to be pretty reasonable.  I would try that and maybe meet with them and see.  There is nothing worse than a DJ with no personality.

    Try www.everlastingsounds.com (513-260-2780) owner is Randy Leichman. We are going with them and they came highly recommended by several friends! We actually had thought we were going with someone else, but after meeting Randy and his wife, we changed our minds!

    JD Hughes! His company is "On the Air Entertainment". He is more a master or ceremony vs. DJ - but of course he does all the DJ stuff too. You def pay for his personality and all of his ideas. He is more expensive than a lot of others but if this is something that is really important to you (which it was for me) just pick something else to cut back on! I really think DJ/MC make or break the night! I havn't had my wedding yet so I can't personally say he was great. I have heard only good things though. He is a DJ for several cincy radio stations so you can hear him depending on time of day. Let me know if you want more info.

    so funny that you say brad with queen city DJ a muturl friend of his just gave me his number but he said he had no idea how good of a DJ he is but he is a DJ.  I had kinda put it in the back of my mind since I had no details... I'll give him a call

    Just booked them for our wedding! includes a dj and an MC, and all the lighting stuff. I booked them for $500 with a bridal show special, but regular price is only $750.
