I've done both.  I know it's bad, but I prefer the bed.  I feel like if you do it right it looks much more natural.  I actually like the stand up booth best bc I tend to get white circles on my back from the pressure spots that are on the bed.

i say airbrush.  It is more expensive but if you get someone good they can customize the color exactly to make it look more natural and you don't get the streakiness.

Which would you rather have: a spray tan or deep tissue scars from having dysplastic cells removed?  I should have asked myself that before I got a chunk of flesh the size of my pinky finger taken out just for a mole the diameter of a pencil eraser, 20 stitches, weeks of instense pain, and months of lingering pain.  And now a giant scar on my chest.  And I didn't even tan all that often.

Don't do tanning beds!  It'll catch up with you!

I did the spray tanning...just make sure that you complete your sessions a few days before the wedding this way you avoid any chances of getting color on your dress if you sweat at all.

No matter what they say that the color will not stain your clothes...that is NOT TRUE.  I went to 3 different places and the results were all the same.  My white bras are now tan.

But after that experience I decided to go like a week before the wedding to the last session becuase I did 3 sessions...and it worked perfect there were NO stains on my dress at all!

    HTH!

I'm doing tanning beds for the wedding.  I usually do spray tan and it really doesn't look that great on me and I will look orange in the pictures.  Yes I have try the really expensive airbrushes.  I have been and will only be doing tanning bed for 6 weeks (the month of my wedding) because I know it's not great for you.  But I can handle a short amount of time for this important day.
