Fun Things I Got in the Mail (kind of long)

So I ordered an umbrella off of an uknown internet website a couple weeks ago.  I got it yesterday and it is SO cute!  It's royal blue with our initials on it in yellow.  (Wedding colors!)  I had to just hope that the blue color would be right as they didn't have a photo online, but it ended up being a really close match.  Too bad I have to wait until September to use it!!

I got my white shower dress yesterday in the mail too and I accidentally bought the wrong size.  I'm an idiot because I tried on the size I needed in the store!  (It runs a little big so the size I need is smaller than what I normally wear, which is how I got confused.)  But all is well and it's actually on sale even more now, so I'm getting the correct size for $20 less.  And I'll just return the other one. 

I'm kind of having second thoughts.  It's cute, but I'm wondering if it's too fancy for my shower or to wear ever again...but I guess if anyone gets to be a little overdressed for a shower, it's the bride.  If it weren't white it would be a great dress to wear as a guest to a wedding.  I guess we'll have to go to some fancy dinners over our honeymoon and I'll also try to make it work-appropriate with a colored cardigan or something.

    I'm jealous!  I got my Kohl's bill and a bill from Centrex.  Although, shopping online kind of scares me, I have to try everything on.  So, I guess it's my own fault I don't get fun stuff in the mail often.

    That's cool Sarah! :)  I haven't gotten anything fun in the mail this week. My FI got the Norm show in the mail, but that's about it.  Oh-I see you're now at Bronze level! Good for you!

    I just saw that now that you mentioned it!  Wow!  I feel like it took forever to get 500. 

    I didn't start posting until January even though I joined TK in July and it's just multiplied since then - thanks to this board!  I only post occasionally elsewhere.

    the number of posts you have. I think it's anytime you  post a new thread or reply to one.  You're marked by medals, everyone starts at new then move to bronze at 500. I'm not sure what it is for silver gold or platinum

    501 moves you to Bronze (thats when others will stop calling you a newbie)
    2001 is silver
    6001 is gold
    15001 is platnum(yes there really are people at this level!. Check E and SB Boards)

    congrats!  Where did you get your umbrella and dress from?
     I'm looking for both as well and our shower is in july so comfort is key!

    Umbrella is from an internet site called Trendy Boutique.  It really did turn out nicely.

    And the dress is from White House Black Market.
