RSVP cards...how are you organizing them?

I refuse to throw anything away before the wedding because 1. I'm paranoid that somehow The Knot will get hacked or my whole guest list will some day be missing and 2. What if the internet goes down at the house 2 days before the wedding and I NEED to look at the guest list? Both of are very unlikely, but humor me!

So what the heck do I do with all of these RSVP cards that are coming in? Right now I have them in a recipe card box, but soon they are going to become overwhelming. Is there a good way to keep them organized that I'm not thinking of???

I read somewhere that you should put them back in the box they arrived in.

I got one of those small expandable  card holders and planing on filing them into it in Alpha order in case I have to go back to them for some reason.

I have envelopes.  His Mom's Family, His Dad's Family, My Mom's Family, My Dad's Family, Our Friends, Family Friends, and No.  The best part is that the envelopes are sitting on a beautiful serving platter that I received at my bridal shower.

As we recieve them we have been marking it in my planning binder.   My planning binder has pages with a grid to fill in: Name, Address, # Invited, Sent, RSVP Received, # Attending.  You could probably creat an excel spreadsheet to tick off as you receive each RSVP and indicate how many are attending.

I LOVE this idea!  I'm saving it for about...oh, six months down the line and hope I can be this organized when the time comes.  Thanks for sharing it!

We did excel to track RSVP's, guest full name, and food choice. Fiance is better at excel than I am, so he made a formula to calculate how much reception totals to, depending on the person's food choice, lol!

Hahaha I have mine in a recipe card box too! But--before I put them there, I logged all their information in a master guest list Excel doc; food choices and all.
