The FI an I went to a lovely shop and I tried on 5 dresses, two the FI really liked. Love the shop and would go back, but the issue is she doesn't carry the designer that I ended up winning a wedding dress from. Yes, you read that correctly I won a wedding gown!! Me!! I never ever win anything... did this time so I can't say never ever again!
Uh huh, I am one of 12 lucky brides chosen to blog for It's a Brides Life.com, I was going to wait for the legal documentation before I announced anything but Mon Cheri Bridals made a big splashy announcement today. So there you have it. My designer is Rina di Montella. I still have no idea which gown I will have but at least I know the designer!
I'm extremely excited and when I got the news I was bouncing off the walls!! So I won't be the naked bride (as I threatened) or showing up to our formal affair in jeans and a tee shirt (although the idea isn't a bad one trust me, but it would take away from the dream portion of the wedding for my FI). And my FI gets his wish to not know anything about the dress before the wedding other than when my fitting appointments are... I get to totally surprise him!!! Yay!!! (Now if my Mom would just get on board with this idea....she didn't like my first dress choice in the Rina di Montella line).
