AW: I painted DD's room today PIP

DD turned 7 last week and she asked to re-do her room as her present. So this weekend she is at her dad's, and I got busy! She wanted pink and black (um, no, you cannot have black walls!) So this is what she's getting. I still need to put curtains up and get some accessories and pictures etc, but it's such a transformation.

I don't really have any before pictures, but here is one from the day we moved in with DD (dang she's young here!):

    Is it sad that I'm 22 and want my room to be decorated exactly like that? Unfortunately BF says no pink rooms in our house :(

    That looks great! What a cool mom you are, my mom would have never let me paint the walls that bright! The closest I ever got were a shade of lavender, and a dusty rose colour, lol

    I love that you did her room in a cool (to her) bright pink!  I'm sure that she will LOVE coming home to her new room!  I am not a pink fan, but I do love the comforter!

    How cool! I love that the accent wall in a brighter pink, it looks awesome! Lucky birthday girl! :)

    Nice!  The pink hurts my eyes a little but that is just me :)  I am glad that you did two toned!  It looks very nice.

    She wanted the entire room to be that really dark pink with black on the bottom (chair rail separating). It was so not happening. It <em>is</em> really bright. I thought I was going to hate it, but now that it's all put back together I'm actually really liking it.

    I think you did an amazing job Ollie! How awesome that you were able to get it all done while she was away and surprise her with it. I bet she flipped out! What girl wouldn't love to have a room like that?!? Simply awesome.

    She hasn't seen it yet! She comes home tomorrow night. FI is picking the girls up on his way home, so I'll be at the house waiting for her. I plan to video tape her reaction.
