Can anyone recommend a really great wedding planner in Maui? I would appreciate your experiences. Thanks!

    Welcome to the board!  I'm also in the planning stages, but a lot of knotties have had good experiences with Tropical Maui Weddings, Belle Destination Wedding and Events, and Precious Maui Weddings to name a few.  Depending on your wedding size and venue, you might even be able to do without one.  Happy wedding planning!!  :)

    I personally worked with Lori and Tropical Maui Weddings and couldn't have asked for a better coordinator!

    Hi, welcome!  I'm another Lori bride, getting married at Olowalu in June.  I haven't met Lori yet, but chose her based on recommendations of other knotties, plus I thought her rates reasonable.

    GL and always feel free to ask away, the knotties here are THE best!  :)

    Wow! Thanks for the warm welcome and your thoughts on maui wedding planners. We are in the early stages of planning and have lots of time... I hope! We are planning for a May 2011 wedding.

    My fiance and I will be in Maui this May and will take the time to meet with wedding planners. We are also thinking of getting married at the Olowalu plantation house. Good luck to all of you!

    Just FYI, I have questions in my bio under Questions for Vendors that I used when talking to WCs.  I found it really helpful to have questions written down so I made sure to get what I needed to make a well-informed decision.

    Hi, welcome! I'm getting married at Olowalu in two months from today (EEK!!!) and I am also using Lori Lawrence from Tropical Maui Weddings. I love her, she's so sweet and knowledgeable about everything. Her rates are reasonable and some of the vendors give you discounts for working with her. Good luck with planning, I couldn't have planned mine without the girls on this board!

    I used Kelly at a Perfect Paradise Wedding.   She was super sweet and helpful.  We were just wed this August and I could not have asked for anything more.  She was able to handle last minute requests I had and helped me keep calm and run the show smoothly.  So glad we used her.
