April 2012 Weddings

PIP Heavy ;]

Hey ladies,

I know I have been MIA due to my new job.  It sucks because my internet access is limited and by the time I get home I'm soooo beat...but anyways I just wanted to share a few pics that I don't think I have share with you guys yet.

This is how I asked my girls:
Bridesmaids cards

Maid of Honor cookie

I have been working on my table numbers which I got from Crafty Eddie...I think I still  need to do another coat and I will probably glue them together closer to the wedding day

Cake topper which is also a creation of Crafty Eddie

I'm doing magnetic photobooth frames for the favors but I still don't know how to wrap them? Should I put them in a lil box or put them in a basket by the photobooth..any ideas?

Lastly, (I promise) this is a mock up of our centerpiece...I wasn't too happy with how I looked since it wasn't full but that's because it was the mockup but we ended up adding two different types of flowers to it...apple blossoms and another one which I can remember.  I just thought there was too much white but the florist said that there will be more colored flowers than white for the centerpiece.

Thanks,

Jen

  • Everything looks awesome! I especially love the cake topper and table numbers.

As for the favors, I would just put them by the photobooth with a sign or something, in a little basket. Hopefully everyone will notice or see to get one. Or, to make sure no one overlooks them, you could have someone pass them out during or after dinner maybe?

  • Hey Jen! Everything looks amazing!!

I'm doing photobooth frames as a favor as well! Where did you buy yours? How much were they? I'm looking here to buy them:

I'm planning on also using them as an escort card as well, probably laying them on their side and saying something like:
    "M__________
    Table No. __

Thank you for being a part of our special day, and be sure to take some pictures in the photobooth!"

  • Emily - Thanks!!! I'm leaning more towards having them by the photobooth in a basket and probably have the DJ announce it. Although I didnt really think about having someone pass them around which could be a good idea too.

kmac- thanks!! I actually got them from photoboothframes.com too!!  I wanted to use them as the escort cards but because I got the magnetic ones I didnt know how to do it.  I would have had to buy a huge magnetic board and I didn't want to do.  If you get the actual  plastic frames you won't have a problem like I did but I really wanted the magnetic ones.

    Good luck,

    Jen

  • Everything looks great! Nice job. As for the photobooth we are doing one as well and we plan to put our magnetic frames in a basket by the photobooth. And our DJ will announce it to the guests. Ours is in another room so we are also making a sign that points towards the room its in.
