For those of you who did/are planning on doing a First Look...

For those of you who did or are planning to do a first look photoshoot... did you wear or are you planning on wearing your wedding bands? I would like lots of photos with the bands but I am not sure if this is inapprorpiate. I am not superstitious so that isn't an issue. I just wasn't sure if it was appropriate....

Thoughts?

    We did first look but did not wear our bands.  Those were only worn after the ceremony.  If you're not superstitious or super traditional, then I don't think there's a huge problem with it.  My only reservation would that it would feel staged to me, and I'd rather just do an additional 5-minute session after the ceremony with the bands to make it authentic to that day.

    I wore my e-ring, we did not wear our wedding bands.  The whole idea of a First Look is that it's done before the ceremony so it doesn't make sense to have wedding bands on.

    We are doing our "First Look" photos with just the e-ring, but we are going to slip on our wedding rings for the group shots we get before the wedding. We have a lot of group shots to get and doing the majority before the wedding is really the only feasible option so we don't take hours afterward.

    We did our first look...and then the majority of our shots as a couple before the ceremony.  We intended to wear our wedding bands but forgot lol.  You can only tell in a few of the shots and it's really only my hubby where you notice it the most. Sadly my favourite shot clearly shows his left hand...ringless.  I keep meaning to ask my photographer if she can photoshop it in for us :)
