Need some help...

We are getting our engagment pictures taken in a couple weeks. The problem? I have no idea what we should wear. I love sundresses and have been searching high and low trying to find one that would work. I also want our pictures to be fun but classic. Does anyone have suggestions on what to wear or wear to look for dresses? Thanks!

    I havent done my e-pics yet, we are doing ours in September. I also think a sundress would be really cute, I dont have a ton of advice though. If you want a more timeless, classic look, I would probably go with a solid color sundress over a printed dress.

    We had our pictures done yesterday, and our photographer showed me some of them as we went along, and I was thrilled with the way our outfits turned out (it was something that I put a lot of thought into). Here's a quick rundown of what we wore:

    Formal pictures at a landscaped park:
    Me: This dress from Anthro, an acid green cropped cardi, metallic sandals. Swapped the cardi halfway through for a black sash around the waist and dark raspberry heels. Him: White shirt, black/white/grey plaid tie, grey vest, black slacks.
    Watercolored Gems Shift 

    Casual shots at a more woodsy park:
    Me: White short sleeve blouse with a tiny black print, dark jeans, black sandals. Him: Light blue button down with tiny stripes, dark jeans, white Pumas.

    My advice: Wear what you feel good in...that was my main motivation for choosing the outfits I did. If you feel comfortable in what you're wearing, your pictures will reflect that. Also, we used a bottle & glasses of champagne for props, and after drinking our props, I was considerably more relaxed, hahaha. Hope this helps!!

    I agree with sparkles in that I prefer solid colors.  I got my dress from JCPenney because they have several to choose from.  But I also have good luck at Ross with dresses.  I buy 80% of my sundresses from there

    I'm getting my engagment pictures taken this Sunday, and I have a couple sundresses that I'm still choosing from. FI is thinking of wearing dark jeans and a t-shirt. Our pictures are more casual though since we are doing them at a public park and on a beach.
