Are you and your FI exchanging wedding gifts on the day of the wedding? If so, what?

We thought about it but decided not to and will treat ourselves to some nice souveniers and meals on the honeymoon.

I wanted to but FI doesn't want too. He thinks its stupid

I was going to get him a nice cologne that he could wear for the wedding.

I might still buy him it, I dont expect anything from him.

We were going to and sort of are. But we normally give eachother like 'things to do together gifts' for birthdays and christmas so we got tickets to this concert we really wanted to go see that's 2 weeks before the wedding also so we can make sure we take time to be alone and do non wedding before the big day

I'm also having a hankercheif embroidered that he'll get the morning of (cause i know he's gonna cry hehe)

We are. I bought him a really nice watch that he wanted and he got me tickets to a concert that I really wanted to see! (I'm not suppose to know though! haha)

And he says that my wedding rings are my present too! haha

Yes we are. I really like the idea. Plus I had an idea I've been wanting to use forever and was going to do as an anniversary gift, but we're getting married on our anniversary, so it just made sense. I got him a lighter that I had engraved with our intials and wedding date. I think he got me Jewlrey but I'm not sure.

We are doing IOU's for later - we spent all our money on the wedding lol. I haven't quite decided yet but I'm thinking new golf clubs or a new recliner.

FI said he didn't want to do gifts, but then he bought a piece of artwork for the house that he says is "our wedding gift", so I think that covers us both.

I bought FI custom made cuff links that are extremely sentimental and we talked about it and I mentioned buying him tickets for his favorite college football team. No idea if he got me anything.. guess we will see

fiance is having diamond solitaire earrings made for me from old family diamonds that had been passed down to me. It's not really a surprise since I helped to design them and am planning to wear them on the wedding day. I am giving fiance a little black book from my boudoir session. I think he is going to be surprised

I got FI really cool steampunk cufflinks, repurposed from old watches. I gave them to him early so he could make sure to get a shirt that he could wear cufflinks with. He forgot and bought a regular shirt to wear with his suit. Ughh....whatever

I doubt he's going get me a gift. It doesn't bother me though. I'd rather him buy me something on our honeymoon.

This is what I'm giving FI too. It's not a surprise anymore though because I was stressing out about the shoot and told him so he could be encouraging. He was shocked (and excited) that I went because it's not very me. He won't see the images beforehand, so I guess that's a surprise. My concern with this gift is that now I'm not sure what to say when people ask us what we gave each other hahaha

We were shopping for wedding day jewelry and he bought me a pearl bracelet that we saw at Macy's.

I got him personalized cufflinks with our initials and wedding date. I'm also wanting to get him something else...would love to get him an ipad, but probably out of my budget right now. So maybe a good bottle of cologne or one of the suitcases on our registry. We are also writing love note vows to each other to be exchanged before the wedding.

I am concerned about this too!!! I am going to tell him just to tell people who ask that his gift is going to be excursions on the honeymoon or something, hahaha

I am so excited about the gift I got FI. One of the groomsmen helped me buy all of the parts for a stand-up arcade that FI can build (he's good at that) with the help of the same groomsman. He'll be able to download all the 80s arcade games he wants for his man cave!

I had teased him that I wanted to get him something romantic that I could engrave, like an old pocket watch, but he didn't seem too excited about that. So, I bought a small plaque to put at the top of the arcade machine that say "Remember when you play that your wife loves and misses you! July 14th, 2012" Haha

My Mom let it slip when I was buying my wedding jewelry that he got me diamond earrings...

I bought FI a pocket watch from Things Remembered and engraved it. He's wanted a pocket watch for a very long time so I thought this would be a good opportunity. He doesn't know about it - I plan on giving it to him the morning of the wedding.

I wrote him a memoir of our relationship, sort of a "Dictionary of us" in which each letter has a word and a memory or inside joke. Actually something I've been working on for a while, and I decided to give it to him that morning.
