Ceremony with Fireplace in Mass?

Hello! I am not from Massachusetts, but my fiance is, and his whole family is so we want to do our wedding there. We would like to do a winter wedding (December, January, or hopefully March), but are hoping to do an indoor ceremony with a fireplace. I've tried googling, using the knot, etc, but have not found too many that are not extraordinarily expensive. In the $-$$$$ range, we are about $$. Does anyone know of good places with a fireplace- or even just a good place for a winter wedding in Mass in general? We do not care where in Mass the wedding is. Thanks!

Re: Ceremony with Fireplace in Mass?

  • The Dennis Inn has a gorgeous fireplace, but I don't know if they actually use it. We got married there last month and it was great. We loved the venue and the people. Definitely worth getting in touch with Brad and Cathy to see if you can use the fireplace.
  • Chatham Bars Inn does amazing winter weddings.   They have a big fireplace too for the ceremony.  My friend's brother got married there in the winter and they got a great deal too!
  • If you are open to going off Cape, Independance Harbor in Assonet is gorgeous, not that expensive and have a beautiful fireplace right in the room where the reception is. Well worth checking out! Good luck!
  • It would depend how many people you were looking to invite but the Holiday Inn in Falmouth has a beautiul fireplace in their restaurant & would probably be able to work out a ceremony in the restaurant & reception in the banquet room or something like that. I know their sales director & shes usually open to new ideas.
  • Indian Pond Country Club has a smaller room (max 175) and a ballroom (max 420) with fireplace. But that's probably closer to $$$ dollar range
  • I am having a fireplace ceremony at the Ridge Club in Sandwich in November, i love the venue and we are super excited!
  • Bourdale Funcation Facility www.capefunctions.com. they have a fireplace and have great winter rates.  They even have places for the guests to stay over night

  • I don't know where Harrington Farms falls on the $$ scale, but it might be more than you want knowing what I know about their actual prices. It is central Mass, but they have a gorgeous, large stone fireplace.
  • I am getting married in the Dining Room at Wequassett, they only do ceremonys in there in Nov and April. They have a nice fireplace on the right side of the room and georgous views of Pleasant Bay. Nov is off rate so its more afforadable too!
