Postage Nightmare Solved - But Now I Need Your Opinions

I went for a second opinion about postage and they told me the same thing - $1.95.

So, last night FI, my Mom and I spent 2 hours undoing all of the bows on the invitations and unraveling them. Now I've come up with two different options. I took both back to the post office and I am now down to $0.45 per invitation!!!

I'm not sure which option to choose though. Option #1 is more work. Option #2 is easier and closer to my original idea. (Sorry pic quality is bad.)

What do you think?

Thanks for all your help ladies. You have no idea how much I appreciate it!

Option #1

Option #2

  • YAY for getting this resolved!

I like option 2 better.  It also gets bonus points for being easier and closer to your original idea.

  • I prefer option two.  Bonus that it is less work!

  • Agree with PPs!

  • My favorite is option two, too!

  • Option 2! I think its cuter plus its like your original idea AND easier than option 1...WIN/WIN!

  • I like the second one.

  • Definitely option 2.  I think the stamp on #1, while nice, makes it have a bit too much going on.  #2 is cleaner.  Less work is a definitely bonus!
  • Definitely number 2!!  I feel like you loss the little design piece with the invitation.

  • Like #2... surprised that doesn't cause a bump though!
  • It does cause a small bump in the very center but otherwise it is flat. The other bow caused the whole envelope to be lumpy.

It's the same raffia from my original invites. We just had to unravel it all.

Thanks so much again to all of you ladies!

  • I'm going to be different. I actually like the look of the 1st one more, but I like the 2nd option as well. Since it is easier and closer to what you want I would go with it.
