Attire - OPINIONS PLEASE

Hi ladies,

I asked my bridesmaids about this but none of them responded, so I'm hoping you guys will!

As a reminder, here's my dress:



I'm having the trumpet waist made more into a drop-waist so there's less distance between my waist and where the bottom flowery part starts (kind of like the placement on the top picture: clicky).

#1)  I was contemplating adding a very simple black satin ribbon belt to it for the RECEPTION ONLY. I would tie it with a bow in the back, not in the front. I'm the kind of person that wears belts A LOT, so it wouldn't be out of character for me to wear it.  Would you do this? Yes or no? I know my dress has a lot going on, but I am trying to make my legs look longer (rather than making my torso look longer) and thought the addition of a belt would help. 

#2)  Also, I'm having my hair up and I'm trying to find a good hair embellishment for when I remove my fingertip length simple veil/blusher. Would you go with something like a flower (like this) or would you go with something smaller/less flowery (like this)? There are so many flowers on the bottom of the dress that I don't want it to be "too much" but when I remove my veil, I think I'll need something in my hair.

    oooh, I really like the 2nd one you posted!!  That is beautiful and it's all feathers so will really pay homage to your dad and goes well with the dress. I don't think it's too round and would look really nice on the side of your head i'm sure.   And no, i don't think feathers go with the Choos.

    And yay for Jimmy Choo Shoes!  I'm going to Milan to buy mine on Saturday and FI probably won't want to marry me when he sees how much they cost, lol!

    LOL. That's ok - you can wear them LOTS after the wedding, too! That's my justification :)

    And I think I like that last one, too. it's flowers, but not too round. I'm getting my mom's opinion too since none of the BMs will respond to me. :( lol
