Alterations raves?

I need to find an alterations place that is good in the Orlando area. I live on the East side, but am willing to travel a bit. Does any have any good places? Thanks!

I used Jeanine. She comes to you. She did such an amazing job on my dress and was really cheap!
Her number is 407-432-7336 or 321-235-6681. One is her house and one is her cell but I don't remember which. If you leave a message she gets back to you fast.

I DO NOT recommend Judy King the seamstress.  It doesn't matter if she does a good job, she has the worst attitude in the world. She is just so rude and so mean and never wants to fix mistakes and you have to argue with her forever.  The only time she is polite is if you like everything she does.  I was so frustrated with her that after two fittings, I just paid and pretended I was happy with my dress so I could take it somewhere else and never ever talk to her again.  Also, she and another seamstress did not want to alter the bra top of my dress and it was away from my skin in many of my pictures and I felt a little too revealing. I hope I did not flash my guests.  She wanted to stuff my bra instead with these big cups and it made me look huge.  Looking back, I think she just felt it would be much too much work to make it fit because she probably would've had to remove a lot of beading and then sew it all back on.  I would've happily paid twice the price for my dress to fit me perfectly and for the stress of having to deal with her to disappear.  There will be a long and detailed review of her soon.
  • I know this thread is old but I would highly suggest Sonia Rosas. She did my gown tailoring and it came out great. She was so quick and I saved a buch of money vs the bridal shop. She had the complete seamstress setup.
She has a website http://www.orlandoweddingalterations.com - her number and email address are there.
