Band Suggestions

hi ladies! I was wondering if anyone could help us out with band suggestions. We are trying not to go above $5000 for the band and would like a high energy, fantastic, up beat and gets the crowd going type of band. We are looking for the band to be our main focal point of our wedding and need suggestions please. thanks so much!!

    We wanted a fun fun band! and went with the Topcats who i love! 

     I have heard that Groovy 7 and MOJO were great too. Wish i could be of more help.

    Groovy 7 just played for a friend's wedding. I couldn't make it, but heard they were great.

    We have MoJEAUX for our wedding in July.   In my top 3 were Top Cats and Groovy 7, but went with MoJEAUX...they are fabulous and can't say enough good things about them.  Check out their website...but be warned they book up very very fast.

    Our wedding hasn't happened yet but we have booked Groovy 7. We heard them play at one of their gigs and they were awesome.  They have been really great and easy to work with so far.  I have also heard good things about them from several of our other vendors.

    We just used Karma for our wedding, and I can't say enough great things about them. I would definitely check them out - we have heard so many great things about them (and they were less than a lot of the usual N.O. bands!).

    KARMA!!!!!! They are so much fun!! Its awesome having both a male and female singer so they do a huge variety of music. They will do pretty much whatever song you want and are great to work with. Very reasonable prices too, especially compared to other bands in the city.

    thanks everyone for your help! we are looking into Buck town allstars but i dont see anyone mention them. Do yall know if they are good or not?
