I'm having a few good days and my planning is really moving along!

Finalised flowers - Pam at the Palette, so happy!

Finalising cupcake tower and top tier cake - Freed's

Picked wedding dress (i went with something completely different than my previous ideas:O)

Almost final guest count

Finalised upgraded room at Maggiano's, very happy that I went with Calabria now

Photobooth booked - Shutterbooth

Groom's tux ordered

Had a slight panic moment when I received news that my wedding planned has moved from the chapel to caterin at MGM grand and I'm not entirely happy with her replacement, but our chapel experience will be quite short and simple so I don't foresee any problems there.

Just wanted to share the feeling of accomplishment in case anybody is struggling with their planning, it all does come together eventually:)

I'm going with their Venetian package as it includes toast and they pay for a full cake from Freed's if you go with the simple one, or a fixed amount if you go for a more elaborate one.

I love that I can use a lot of vendors to make up the room minimum, and the Calabria room has a strip view. It's probably not the coolest place, but I feel good about it (even without the scouting trip), and I think the price is reasonable.

I was going to go with a red 50s dress, but I tried on ivory and I was stunned, eheh. Now going for the same kind of style (tea lenght, elbow sleeves), in ivory, with a black bow, black petticoat, black shoes with red soles and a red bouquet. I don't have a pic as the designer is making it from scratch, so i did my best with describing:D

I'm too short for long dresses, they make me look swamped and less than thin, so to speak:D

cool the only thing is i have a kid that doesnt eat tomato based sauces or tomatoes. lol im only 4 10 so im right there with you on the short side

They're pretty good at modifying the menu, but they do have a lot of tomato based stuff, doesn't hurt to get in touch, they are very quick via email.

How many people are you having, more or less?

Thanks ladies! Apparently Freed's does a lot of cupcake towers, I really hope their stuff is good, hate not bring able to do a taste test:p Southercutie I picked the Hollywood glamour package, can't wait for the pics that come with it!
