Hi,
Has anyone had a wedding or been to a wedding at the lodge at Grassy Hill?  Its in Shelton.  I think I've seen someone mention it, since most places I've been looking at online I saw on the knot, but I don't see it on the weebly site, so I'm not sure if this is one of the ones I found on my own.  I'd love any info from somewhere who has been there.  Thanks!

(Also, in case any of you remember my summer camp idea, I've decided not to go that route...just too much extra work and I want to keep things simpler, but appreciated all the feedback!)

    I went to a wedding there last year. It was a nice place. The bride told  me they were great to work with in terms of package negotiations. The outside ceremony place is nice, but you do get some road noise because it's sort of close to a fairly busy road.

    I went to a wedding there but it was a few years back (2005 I believe).  It was very nice and my friends were happy with it. It is technically in Derby.

    Thanks all!  SB 1512, I'll let you know if I have questions after doing a tour.  So far with emailing they have seemed great.

    If you do a search, I remember someone else asked about it a little while back.  I went to a wedding there a few years ago.  I would describe it as a little bit rustic.  I also thought the little part outside was nice, but the ceremony was indoors, so I didn't get to see an actual ceremony outside.

    I went to the Bridal Show that they had and it seemed really nice. I didn't see the outdoor area.

    my brothers wedding was there in 2008. The food was great I would recommend it.

    I know I am a bit late to this post and am not sure if you made your desicion yet, but I wanted to let you know I got married at Grassy Hill Lodge last may!!  Martha was great to work with! The food was great and everyone is still talking about it!  It is a great place to have a wedding, we also had our ceremony outside and the noise from the road didn't interfere at all!  If you do decide to go with them be sure to speak to Tony, Martha's brother.  He is a DJ and is amazing!  We serisouly had a wonderful wedding, you won't be disappointed!  Feel free to PM with any questions you may have!
