Confessions

Cause it's been a while

I confess that I have already gotten a speeding ticket in my new car. I don't even have tags on her yet, and I got caught fdoing 50 in a 30. Whoops!

I also confess that I will not be telling DH about this cause I am in charge of the bills (so he has no idea what our insurance costs) and keep a separate bank account for incidents just like that.Innocent

  • I confess that sometimes I just want H to stop talking. I enjoy listening to the radio on the road and it gets annoying when he talks just to make conversation.

We don't have that problem as much. M usually doesn't sit with me when I watch my shows so most of what we watch together is something hes into

  • I can't wait for FI to start his night shoots on Friday. He hasn't worked in two weeks and I haven't had time alone in the apartment in longer than that.
I'm sure I'll be eating my words when he's working 7pm to 7am and I don't see him at ALL for 3 weeks.
But ladies, how am I supposed to figure out my boudoir pic situation with him always there???

THIS! E was going on and on about summer classes which started today, and I couldn't get a word in edge-wise for a good 5 minutes. Finally I just spit out "aclientisheregottagobye" and hung up. No client was here, but I was missing quality TK time.

  • When I'm on the phone talking to my sister, he feels the need to interject constantly. Most of what he says is ridiculous and it is annoying because he really doesn't know what is being said into my ear. He gets pissed, but seriously. When I'm on the phone, you need to STFU and not be rude.

I confess that I have had twinges of baby fever lately. I don't even want kids! If this is my clock ticking then I want to break it.

That should do it. You know I would probably be one of those moms to give daddy a blowie while nursing, so you'd be saving a lot of lives.

  • I confess that, although I'd really like to hang out with my sorority sisters again, I'm also kind of dreading it because one girl is so stinking self-righteous and pretentious that I kind of want to throw up a little.  Oh, you have an intellectual opinion on this?  And mine is wrong because I'm so unenlightened?  Please do share.

  • I confess that when my mom calls me or texts me I don't care to answer.
She just sent me a message "thinking of you love you". Really...and you haven't bothered to contact me since Sunday to talk about YOU going to work and YOU working out. Then "Oh yea....it's been a couple of days since I talk to you". Yea..you usually go at least a week.
I bet her check from my Dad hasn't made it yet and she'll be calling tonight asking about it.

This. I am the exact same way with my father. And I am the only child. Cone of shame. TBH, I just don't have the patience. The last thing I want to do when I get home after a long day at work is listen to someone else b!tch about their life for the next hour. I have enough stress, I don't need yours. So I pour a glass of wine and watch Dance Moms instead.

I'm guilty of this as well. My Mom usually calls to nag me when I'm coming to Iowa for a visit. It's a 2 way street lady. She hasn't once come to Texas in the 5 years I've lived here to visit and we had to talk her into coming for my wedding/ daughter's graduation that's all in the same weekend.
I confess I really want to try the new move in boxing on someone. I call it the elbow to face. FI won't let me test it out on him, neither will my co-workers. DARN!

I tried watching my DVR of it last night but was just too dang tired and fell asleep. No spoilers- I am getting to it after work! I just couldn't get into Miami so I am really looking forward to it. Hopefully it just doesn't get too crazypants.
  • I agree, Miami sucked.

So I just saw the story on WFAA about that semi on 114 from this morning. The headline made me giggle cause I am immature. "the load hit..." HA! I blame the beej thread for that.

<div>OMG I thought I was the only one with this problem!!!! I was watching last season's finale of True Blood this afternoon (I hadn't seen it) and he wouldn't stop talking over the TV even after I told him that I love him, I want to listen, but he is puttering around anyway and the show only had 10 minutes left. He's gotten better at not having his phone out all the time - I started to just glare at him when we were conversing and he'd pick it up to do something else. Passive aggressive, I know, but it worked :)</div>
