sparent what kind of christian? Calvinist or Evangalical?

I second the need for a good dance studio! Does anyone know of a place that we can bring our "first dance" song to and they will teach us to dance/waltz/whatevs to it? I know there are places in other states.. haven't found one here though

Christian Non-Denominational. 'Love is patient love is kind' maybe? I don't know where that comes from though

Yeah non-denominational, but calvinist or evangalical? You're still going to a church that is based in on or the other.

    That's 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

For dancing - some coworkers of mine recommended Century Ballroom (www.centuryballroom.com). If you click on the "classes" tab on the left there is info about private lessons and choreography. A little pricey, but probably worth it!

My FI and I are taking dance lessons at Pacific Dance Center in Overlake.  I really like the instructors there and we've done a mix of private and semi private (aka group lessons).

If you go I recommend signing up for a 60 minute Intro to Smooth.  Smooth is dancing like the Waltz & Foxtrot which would be your classy Dean Martin, Michael Buble kind of music pairing.

And if you have another type of music in mind they can recommend other styles (the Smooth is all I know right now :)

sparent- f you follow more heavily on the calvinist side, something like the Song of Solomon or pieces of it would be fitting as well.
(haha it's cool.. I"m not religious at all, I just know a lot about them.. I love the history of religions in the world/U.S. :P )

erin- thanks for the heads up. definitely too far for me as I'm more up north near bellingham, but I'm sure that will be useful for others. :P
