Dirty laundry question: socks

It has come to my attention through a work conversation and with other men I know that there are some guys out there that WEAR SOCKS MULTIPLE DAYS!  As in, they wear a pair of socks on day #1, and on day #2 put on the same pair of socks without washing them.

Do you know anyone who does this? Does FI do this? Have you ever been guilty of doing this?

    Eeck couldn't imagine if my FI didn't change his socks everyday! He works in construction, talk about lots of sweat! YUK!

    This seems odd.  I try to put on new socks and undies every day.  Unless i dont get dressed and am wearing the same from the day before.

    Ewwww that's pretty gross. I change socks every day my FI changes his like 2 times a day, I'm convinced that he just like to pile up the laundry.

    Seriously! That's what I thought! Pretty gross!!! But as the conversation went on, more than one person (all males) were guilty of it!

    I owuld think if you take a shower you have to change your socks.  I would ask these people how much they are showering.  I odnt believe you need to shower everyday (I didnt shower this morning).  I think it goes hand in hand though.  Shower. Get dressed in new clothes.

    Sometimes my FI will wear socks during the day, keep them on while he sleeps and wear them the next day until he showers.  But that pretty much as bad as it gets and it only happens on the weekends because during the week you shower at the same time every day and on the weekends maybe you will lounge around and let it go until the afternoon or even skip a day.

    My only issue with FI and his socks is that he has a tendency to peel them off someplace.

    ...And leave them there.

    My FI changes his socks as soon as he gets home from work- he's really anal about having clean feet at all times.

    I, on the other hand, wear pantyhose pretty much every day, and have terrible circulation in my feet, so they're always freezing. I'll come home and change and put his socks on that he wore that day instead of dirtying a pair of my own socks. Gross? I don't know... but I don't care! I'll sleep in his socks and then when I shower the following morning I'll obviously put my own clean stuff on.

    We own enough socks.  I don't see any reason to rewear them! GROSS. I never heard of this before.

    LOL...My FI does this all the time!!! Usually he'll take them off at night and throw them towards the bedroom...and there they usually sit :)

    What's even more gross is the fact that there are people who will rewear their dirty underwear, but justify it by turning them inside out.
