SA Wednesday

Ok guys, we're really slacking over here lately. Looks like I have to be a PW since no one else is alive.

I just spent an hour with my co-worker at the SS office (essentially for fun) since I forgot to bring my marriage license to work today. Oh well though, at least I have someone to sit with me tomorrow in hopes of avoiding all of the other creepy people there (she agreed to return the favor).

In other news, I can't believe it's only Wednesday. We went and did the Rahr Brewery VIP tasting yeterday and it was a blast. However, I learned that 6 (almost normal-sized) Rahr beers in 2 hours = a non-functioning Erica. Some of their beers have really a high alcohol content, and it was really hard to wake up today, to say the least.

This gets FI and I almost everytime we go to the Gingerman. The beers are all so good, and the alcohol content is so high. Add that to the fact that we're usually there BEFORE dinner, and we are both little people who drink but once MAAAAybe twice a week, and when we do it's not usally getting hammered. Let's just say it only takes 2 or 3 beers there for us to be enjoying ourselves.

I cannot wait until FI and I graduate so we can make a Rahr trip. When did they start doing it on Tuesdays?

Side note, we just got our STD's in the mail. YAY! Now to keep harassing people for addresses so we can get them out this weekend.

Arco: I think the normal tours are Wednesdays and Saturdays but we bought a groupon for a "VIP tour" and those are only on Tuesdays. I think the main difference is that they feed you and you get more beer. It was $30/pp. We looove the Gingerman too though!

Amanda: I DIE! So adorable! Do you think they're acceptable for girl dogs? Haha. Also, who did you book your holiday session with? We were thinking about doing one with tacky sweaters and the pups if we could find something affordable.

Erica- I think they are acceptable for girl dogs... my husband on the other hand does not. We are doing ours with Nine Photography and Dolly (the same getaway car we used for our Wedding!). We are pretty stoked because they are going to deck Dolly out with a Christmas Tree and Presents (tacky Christmas Sweaters are encouraged). It is $119, which is pretty high for us, but considering we don't take pictures that often, figured it would be pretty fun.

Thanks! My videographer actually posted something about this deal, but I couldn't figure out who the photographer was, so I gave up. I may have to look into it! It sure would make for some cool holiday cards!

LOVE the Rahr Brewery tours! H and I have been going for years on Saturdays. It's super cheap (or it least it used to be)... like less than $10. And you get three beers included in that price and a glass to take home (again, at least it used to be that way). We don't drink anymore but boy were those good times. They also will show the TCU games on a projector on the Saturdays they play during the tour.
