Venues in Washington DC proper

Good Morning all! I am newly engaged and super excited.  Myfiance and I have decided that we are going to be getting married in a Catholic church in Washington DC.  I amlooking for reception sites in DC that are beautiful, reasonable and easily assesible from Northeast DC.  Please advise.  Thanks

    Not sure what your budget is, but check out the Carnegie Institute.  The rental is $4000. Its at P and 16th.

    You should definitely pick up a copy of the Washingtonian Bride & Grrom magazine and also the local version of The Knot magazine.  You'll find lots of ideas for venues.  Good luck!

    Thanks.  I am going to check out the Carnegie Institute.  I alreadyhave the local edition of the Knot magazine but I still want reviews from people who have experience with these venues.  Thanks again.
