Sarasota Weddings!

Does anyone have any suggestions for cheap Sarasota venues for ceremony and receptions? My fiance and I are both still in college, and are planning for a late-June 2012 wedding. The catch is we are paying for it ourselves, and since we are both students we don't really have a lot of $$!!!!! Any help/tips/advice would be really appreciated!!!

    You can try Sarasota Southgate Community center  http://www.southgator.com/

    They only rent the venue, chairs, tables, etc. (i think), you will have to get caterer and other vendors. It beautiful outside, has a lake and gazebo.

    One of our early options we didn't have a chance to look at was the Spirit Center, part of the Chelsea Center:

    Kind of depends on your wedding size - this one only seats 80.

    We are getting married at the Venetian In Venice and its a beautiful set up and very reasonable! You will love the Wedding coordinator there her name is Angela and is super helpful.. We still have 8 months to go. Also the Plantation is very well priced by not as nice.
