Shake it like a polaroid picture...

So I have had my heart set on doing a Polaroid guestbook...I was having 2 friends help take pictures and place them in a book where people could sign...WELL I guess I was still stuck in the 80's and thinking the film would be cheap. UGH! It's super expensive (well at least it is for me) It's $30+ just for 10 exposures!  Now I guess back to the drawing board for ideas :(

  • Poloroid film is expensive.  Have you looked for places on-line where you can buy in bulk or looked at prices on film at Costco or Sam's Club?  I would see if buying in bulk is possible before you find a new plan.

  • I did look at ebay and Amazon, but still crazy expensive!  I like the bulk idea, going to look into that! Thanks :)

  • What type of film do you need?  I.e. 300, 600 etc
  • OP
this is so random, but if you have a Walgreens by you, check out walgreens. They have  amazing sales alllll the time in the photo department. Sometimes they offer free prints!  Last time I saw that offer if was for 30 free prints.

    Good luck.
  • I was going to suggest a disposalable camera, but i suppose that wouldn't have the same effect you're going for. What if you bought some cheap film, and had the guests sign that? You could even take some pictures of you and your fi on said film, have the film developed but have guests sign the negatives? Just some thoughts in case you can't find the film in bulk :) good luck!

We are on a pretty tight budget...so a photo booth is a little more than we are looking to spend, the same reason I'm sad at the price of the Polaroid film!
