Hi Ladies!
I was just wondering on avg what you guys are paying for your photographer. I am trying to set a realistic budget and I don't know how much is to much for a photographer. I here so many people tell me so many things. Please help!!!

    I'm paying in the $3000 range.

    I think belows $1500, it's hard to find good photography.  I'd say $1800-3500 finds you good people.

    Ditto MD. Photos were the one place I was not willing to sacrifice. We're paying a pretty penny (close to $4K). MD and I have the same photographer, but we are using her for a photobooth as well. I agree, in the $1800 and up range, you'll find quality work.

    If pictures are important to you, don't skimp on this vendor. Look at tons of pictures. You can start with our recommended vendor list. Google their blog and look at their work. You can also Google your venue and likely find a link to a photogs blog who has done weddings there.

    We are using a more expensive photographer, but I fell in love with her photos before we were even engaged. I guess my advice is look at the work before you look at the price and go from there.
