9 months to go (sorry kinda long)

WOW!  I didn't realize that time really seems to be winding down to our big day.  I had a reminder checklist email from TK saying (9 Month checklist) and I thought dang I still feel like I haven't done anything.  But I guess I have.

The reception venue & ceremony site have both been booked.  We had our 1st counseling session a few months ago w/our Bishop with the next being next month.  I finally found a  gown and placed a deposit on it.  I finalized the decision for the bridemaid dresses also.  My guest list has seem to grow since FI's father's side found out about the wedding so this weekend my main mission is to revamp the guest list.  Oh! I also decided to do the STDs myself.

If there is something else I should have already had done or should be working on please let a sista know. Laughing

Photographers (the good ones go fast)
    Video (If you want one)
Caterer (if your reception venue doesn't cover it)

Congrats on all the checks. You are way ahead of me!

If you haven't done so yet, you need to start looking for a photographer. Also, start looking for a florist and caterer.

I agree with pp's. A photog is kind of crucial to get now. I had to book mine over a yr in advance because of their popularity. But other than that, I think you're right on track.

Thanks ladies...I forgot to add that I have a photographer and he's doing it as a gift ...I work for a University and our Chef over the Culinary Arts program is awesome so he has agreed to cater for us charging a much better price than the other places around here.  As for a video...my dad is over the sound system at our church and he is having one of the men from church video the ceremony and reception for us.  He'sdone a few other weddings and I heard good things about his editing so we are going to go with him.  I've received a few recommendations for florists and the University gives us a paid 2 wks off for the holiday so I am going to take advantage of that and contact these florists.

    Hi!
I have a little more time than you, so make sure you have an idea of what flowers you definely want to use and what your centerpieces might look like. You also might want to start thinking about where you want to register because that is or will be next on your list. depending on what colors you are using for your wedding, you might want to look at getting some of your accessories out the way now if they include fall or winter colors as they are on sale now. You got a lot of the big stuff out of the way so dont stress yourself out. Happy planning!Wink
