Hangers!!

So I have been wanting to buy those fancy name hangers off etsy for my girls but just couldn't budget in $15-25 a person on top of their actual gifts. So I attempted them myself. I went to Marshalls and bought the hangers, Lowes and bought 16 gauge wire & spray paint, and then went to work. I think they came out better than I ever expected and all 6 cost me less than $20! I had my dad drill holes in the hangers so that I could attach the names. I'm sooooo excited!! I am just now deciding if I should do bows or a little flower on the top for a pop of color. What do you ladies think?

Also, I was thinking of making one for my mom and FI's mom, but I don't know what names to put. I don't want to put Mrs Whatever for both and I dunno if Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom are too long. Opinions?

    Oh I like them! You did a great job! If It were me I think I would add a little ribbon just tied around the hook. They can always take it off then if they don't want it. I would have no idea what to do for the Mothers though! Maybe you can just do mom or mother for both of them?

    Those are lovely!! I just found some online for $7/hanger and I was considering getting a couple. Were they easy to make or was it very frustrating?

    Thanks ladies! They weren't hard per-say, but my fingers and hands were sore. I can understand why the Etsy venders charge as much as they do. One of the hardest parts was trying to figure out how to bend some of the letters. 

    If you try it though, definitely go to Marshalls or TJMaxx or something to get the hangers - I paid $5.99 for each pack of 5.

    Also, don't get any lower than 16 gauge wire - I wish I got 18 so it was a little easier to work with but Lowes didn't have 18 - only 9, 16, and 24.
