Happy Friday All!
Hope everyone enjoyed their shorter than normer work week. I thought it would be fun to share all our current favorite things and things which we are most fearful about. So....what's yours?

    I wasn't sure if this is supposed to be wedding related or not....so I went with the not ;)

    FAVORITES:   Peanut M&M's, Breyer's Chocolate Ice Cream, Mom's homemade chicken n dumplins (I want some and NOW), outer banks without a doubt, our yellow lab Sarabelle, 80's/90's music, thunderstorms, Sunday mornings--Brent cooks a mean breakfast every Sunday morning, Texas Longhorns Football, the color blue, True Blood (awwww Sookie)

    FEARS:  I'm very afraid of heights, I hate small spaces, I'm always the driver--was in a horrific car accident and I trust NO ONE behind the wheel except myself, snakes (eewwwwww!!!), crickets...yes I said it...crickets.  Other than all of that, I am pretty much a badass.....noooottttt!!!  lmao ;)

    FEARS: Someone close to me getting hurt in anyway, I am a worrier like that

    FAVORITES:  I love a great sav blanc, my American Bulldog Leroy, summer, travel, spending time doing anything with fam, friends and FI

    OBX- you crack me up! Wedding related or not, doesn't matter. I think yours are more fun.

    Favorites-
    Beach (of course), lemon drops candy, oreos, our puppies Buster & Louie, taking road trips, watching the sunrise over the ocean, Doug singing country songs to me in the car, backyard bbqs, Doug's burgers (heaven on a bun), taking twilight walks with Doug & our pups. For the wedding- my favorites so far are my dress (duh!), my flowers & our ceremony space. And our honeymoon house!

    Fears-
    Roaches, Small confined spaces (same as you, OBX! I hate that feeling!), Spandex, Hairspray, Germs, Impersonators & Mimes, and of course CLOWNS!

    Spandex??  That is hilarious :)

    JAK...I am a worrier too!  I am constantly paranoid that something bad is going to happen to someone very close to me.  For example, Mom works at VCU and we have a rule....she MUST be out of the building no later than 5:30 otherwise I go bonkers and call and call and call until I get her on the phone and know that she is in her car on the way home.

    Favorites:  Our wedding pictures, geocaching with the dogs, laying in the hammock with a good book, sand on my toes, Ryan's turn to cook dinner, third graders, bubble baths with white wine, Shellac

    Fears:  starting Ryan's medical school journey this fall... that's big enough on its own.

    Favorites: Nachos and Beer, Days on the beach with girlfriends, when you hear your favorite song on the radio (it's just so much better than hearing it on the ole iPod), back massages, moose tracks ice cream, going out for a run not in the mood and it ending up being a good run, rainy days in sweatpants watching movies, Philadelphia Phillies, more nachos.

    Fears: That I or my fiance will lose our job, Losing someone I care about, getting in a car accident, heights, spiders, things that slither.

    Favorites- family vacays, the beach, New England Mountains, snow, hard rock concerts w my FI, my bothers band, facials, days off, beer & wine, our mutt Puddy, HGTV, Philadelphia Eagles & Phillies, coffee, Ben & Jerrys, kayaking, being w the ppl I love! Fears- tornadoes, not figuring out what i want to do career wise, something bad happening to fam/friends, getting divorced (rents set an awesome example-about to celebrate 34yrs together!), and fish (snorkeling is my hell).

    Ooh.. I second the tornadoes.  I forgot about those.  HUGE fear.

    I also love snow, except when we have nearly 3 weeks of snow make up days in June. :)

    My nephews LOVE geocaching!  Shellac....that is my sisters favorite word, along with lacquer, lol

    I have geocached with my older daughter.  Tramping through weeds in the median of I40 was not fun but very interesting.  They have geocached throughout Europe also.  Fun.  You should check the ones in Chesterfield County VA where I live as you have to use a boat and go across the lake to get a cache.

    One thing for Ryan - I want to see you and Christi just as wonderfully in love after med. school and interning.  It is a difficult journey but you will make it together and come out great in the end.  BTW, Medical College of Virginia is part of the university where I work.

    Favorites:  Hanging with friends and family on a beach; BBQ's, anything social like that, cadbury cream eggs (thank god they only come around easter), Hiking with Tim, Doing anything with TIm (I haven't seen him in 3 months, and before that, 6 months!)


    Fears: Something bad happening to my babies.  There is no bigger fear than that.  But I do also hate spiders and snakes.  Tongue out

    Favorites: buffalo chicken, happy hour, captain morgan spiced rum, long island iced teas-- ok enough with the liquor-- PITTSBURGH STEELERS FOOTBALL, my nephews-- they're my world, my family, my fiance, my good friends, when someone at work or a paitent thanks me for a job well done, tropical/beachy vacations

    Fears: losing someone I love, dying young, heights

    sounds interesting and fun.

    Geocaching is really fun.  We love getting out and seeing new places.  Plus, we're really competitive about who finds it first.  He swears by the GPS, but I just like to get close and then feel it out. 

    Boderboo-- that made me tear up.  It's something we've definitely thought a lot about and know it won't be easy.  We know we can do it, but I know it's going to mean missing my husband a lot and coming in second to his schedule.  And he knows it means putting up with MY cooking more. ;)

    Favorites: OBX, ALL New England Sports but mostly the SOX and Patriots, Fenway, Hiking/Fishing with FI, my Family, friends, Fall in New England, the first snowfall, driving in snow storms!!, card games, BBQ's, our boxer pup, lillies, the sound of the ocean, ANY kind of chocolate/desert, the White Mountains, when FI cooks, the color Red, a nice cold Guinness!

    Fears: TORNADOS (especially after one just ripped through my town and those surrounding us!), spiders, lettiing go of control (driving, planning, etc), losing those I love, watching anyone suffer, ever hitting an animial while driving, I brake for frogs!!!, never finding my "dream job" or dream career...

    FAVS: Summer, beach, OBX of course, boating, backyard bbq's, family time, sunday mornings, thunderstorms in the summer, camping, geocaching, cooking and baking, my son, shopping, philadelphia phillies/eagles, penn state football(JOE PA!!), amusement parks, traveling
    FEARS: losing those i love, watching/knowing someone is suffering, never "making it", divorce, something happening to my son-he's my life!!!

    Ohh fun post!!! ok so it's basically saturday now for everyone but for me it's still friday because I work nights so here goes!!

    Favs: the beach obviously, football games, beer, margaritas, my fiances homemade pasta sauce and meatballs, cupcakes that my twin sister makes are to die for!!(she will be making our wedding day ones and cake!),  rainy days and snuggling on the couch, my cats, and anything fuzzy and shiny!!!

    Fears: being attacked!! losing someone close to me, anything that has more than 4 legs!, swimming in the ocean, stink bugs!YUCK!!

    Thanks for playing!  I'm sort of afraid of the ocean too, but I'm finding myself more and more comfortable with it each vacation.  DH still plays in it more than me, but I just take a comfortable chair, big umbrella, and read all day to the sound of the waves. ;)

    Ok, so it's not Friday anymore, but I had to work all day yesterday. Booo!

    Favorites: The beach, skittles, the smell of the ocean, COLOR (I hate beige, beige, beige), Not Another Teen Movie (and any silly movie), walking around in Duck and chowing on oysters at Fishbones, anything shabby chic,


    Fears: Not getting all of this wedding stuff done in a timely manner so that I don't wind up with a crappy venue, trying to get a teaching position in a tought budget year, trying to keep my teaching license active after taking a break from the profession,  forgetting to pack my wedding dress/birth certificate/wedding band before wedding, and having mother nature deciding to join me on my honeymoon. Ughhhh.. that would suck!
