Need more Photog recs

so I've been out of the wedding planning circle for quite a while now, and I have a friend at work planning her May 7th 2011 wedding and I've been giving her all of my FAVORITE photographers names as recommendations.

Obviously I already recommended April Sirit and Cheyenne Schultz BOTH of which are booked (I'm crying for her!!!) lol.

After she told me they were booked I recommended Kristin Vining.  She's really looking for these styles of photographers (meaning they can pull of vintage glam really well).  She absolutely fell in love with Cheyenne's work but apparently May 7th is a very popular date.  Kristin Vining said she's had that date booked since Dec 2009!!  She's already booked her venue and can't change the date (it was the last day in May they had avail.).

They are getting married on the coast of Carolina (not that location really matters since everyone travels) but do you guys have any other *new* recommendations about photographers who have the same style that I just don't know about?  TIA! :)

    Ball N Chain Photography. They just did my May beach wedding and did an amazing job. They are a 2 photographer team. If you want to see my pro pics and send them along to your friend send me an email futuremrstickle at yahoo dot com
    I think it helps to see a full wedding instead of just random shots on their website.

    I am using Angela Blankenship, she traveled to a beach wedding earlier this year so I imagine she'd do it again.  And her prices are amazing!!  She really has an eye and can capture any type of style your friend would want.  Her website is abphotography,info  check her out, she doesn't have a lot of weddings up there because she's only been doing photography a couple years but she has done several weddings I know including one of my best friend's last year which she has tons of samples from.  Check her out!!

    I just used Jere and Ashley Dotten for my wedding and I'm blown away by my pictures. I'm sure they travel and are very reasonable with prices. It's a husband/wife team.     JT Photography has been fabulous and they are very affordable!!  Definitely give them a try.

    I would just grab a NC knot magazine and call up who is in the back. See who all is available that she likes and then narrow from there who she most likes and can afford. It is always a bummer to fall in love and then someone be booked. I can't remember the others like them, but I know there are a good many more I've come across over the last couple years.

    I used Kellie Kano (out of Greensboro) and absolutely loved her! I would HIGHLY recommend her.  


    I also really loved Millie Holloman Photography (based in Wilmington), but I don't really think they do much "vintage glam".  Their stuff is really modern (and awesome).  She might want to check them out, though.

    HIGHLY recommend Bella Loren Photography!!!  I'm using them for my wedding. 

    Other photogs like Schultzs are Cunningham Photo Artists.  My sister used Tuesday's Frog and her photos are stunning.

    If she likes Cheyenne & Kristin Vining, she would probably love Critsey Rowe too. I loved every second I spent in front of her camera.

    I definitely recommend Michael Moss Photography. He is based in Raleigh but travels all over. He is awesome at vintage glam..you can tell by his website and blog. He is truly amazing and he is very reasonably priced..also he adds in extras for free.

    My friend's used Matt McGraw out of Wilmington for their wedding at the coast.

    My cousin used InContrast out of Raleigh--they travel and its not a bad fee we orginally wanted them but they were booked.

    I am using F5 photography--Ross is the main guy and they are really reasonable priced.  He is out of Winston but he drove to Durham just to meet with us to talk about his work.

    They are fabulous!! The husband and wife take the photos and they are extremely professional and passionate about it.  They are also super affordable.  My e-pics are the top of the page.
