This weekend?

Do you have plans yet?

Since FI and I didn't get to relax last weekend as it turned out to be a marathon, we are stealing away on a little trip this weekend. Given my stress level and emotional lability lately, he is trying to help me de-stress. (D'awww) :) We are headed to Bisbee, AZ for a little R&R, dancing, reading, and hiking. Bisbee is this cute touristy mining town that is large in size but small in population. Lots of hole in the wall places and areas to explore on foot. I can't wait!

Re: This weekend?

  • BF is supposedly planning some sort of romantic surprise. I have no idea what it is. And we might be doing something with his friends this weekend, but I'm not sure because none of them ever plan. They just call and say "We and doing XYZ right now". It is super annoying.

Ahhh getting away is nice. That sounds like a nice place, Im going to google it.

We had a busy weekend last weekend. Did Vday supper and GF's bdays, Snowboarding. So I think this weekend will be fairly relaxed, I have a massage on Friday and a hair appt on saturday then dinner plans for BF's mom. Thats it. I should study though... I will have to do a day of that at least. :( thats it... Wish I was getting away like you. Have fun!

Have fun! Are you staying at that fun motel that has the little trailers all decorated differently? I'm dying to stay there :)

ETA: We have no plans this weekend other than to work out. We're also considering doing some landscaping in our backyard, but we'll just be interviewing contractors, not doing it ourselves!

    Still here and still fabulous!

  • Nursey, that sounds so great. I would love a little weekend away so I'm a bit jelly:)

We don't have any plans this weekend. I think I want to try and get outside for a little activity, though. It's been pretty cold here the past few days, but the warmer weather is returning. Maybe a trip with the dogs to the park perhaps.
  • Have fun!

I'll probably be freaking out about job applications and what the eff I'm going to wear for my interview/cleaning up and start packing to go home for good. :)

  • My sister's birthday is Friday, so we'll be heading across town to hang out with her.  And then I think H's parents are coming up this weekend, so we'll just be hanging out with them.  I also need to do laundry and start packing for Hawaii.  Other than that, we don't have anything officially scheduled.  I'm really just looking forward to sleeping in...

  • I think H and I are going to start planning out our trip to Newfoundland this year. I also just booked a cabin in Lake of the Woods, Ontario for this summer.  I'm kind of scared of what mother nature is going to throw at central Canada this summer - this winter has been crazy...going from -30 to -5 in one day...there's barely any snow...etc.

  • Love weekend get aways.  Hope you have a lot of fun and get to de-stress as much as you can.

As for this weekend, I plan to do some water sports and then the rest of the weekend will be working on our house.  Installing new kitchen windows.  Oh JOY!
  • I have seriously wonderful plans this weekend.  I'm taking Friday off of work, and FI, FMIL, FMIL's BF, and I are going up to Maine for the weekend.  We're going to have a tasting with the caterer, do a detailed tour of the venue (so we can determine where we want to set things up), and will hopefully meet with some more vendors.

    I'm REALLY excited!
  • Your weekend sounds awesome, i'm totally jealous.

So far the plans for this weekend include going to visit my grandparents, and of course Saturday Night Magic. I'm hoping for at least one day to sleep in and looking at some venues too. I think FI might go disc golfing if the weather shapes up.

  • FI is gone Thur-Sun so I have the house to myself. My niece is spending the night Fri (she is turning 5 this weekend, holy hell where did the time go?)

I will probably do a super clean down of our whole house and do some running/working out followed my relaxing Sat night.

Sun we book our photographer, whoot whoot!

  • I'm taking an Italian cooking class for 3 hours this Saturday, and we'll spend all day Monday digging and putting in my new garden.  Friday night we're going out to eat and then grocery shopping/watching a movie/sleeping a lot.
  • Aw, yay for your FI taking good care of you, Nursey! What a great idea.

I'm supposed to go to a bachelorette party this weekend that consists of dinner and clubbing. Most likely I will opt out of the clubbing portion of the evening. I'm not up for much walking/standing/dancing lately.

  • No real weekend plans yet.   I've got lots of rehearsal but Monday off. Possibly dinner, we may meet up w/ my family for dinner on Sunday.

We both really need to do some clothes shopping too for vacation coming up.

    Anniversary

  • Work trip Friday-Sunday.  I'd rather have a few days off but I need the pay.  FI will be working at the ski shop; it's dumping snow at home so we're hoping for a big President's Day weekend crowd.  I have Monday off and am going to lunch with one of my girlfriends.  Am also really looking forward to sleeping in and not setting an alarm that morning!!
  • My sister is in town for reading week so Friday we're going to my parent's place to drink and play games. My parents, oddly enough, won't be there, cuz they're in Mexico. Lucky Ducks.

Saturday I'm seeing a therapist because I've been having some issues lately that I really need to do something about. I'm also hoping to at least pound out the rough draft of my paper.

Sunday BF and I are going for a couples massage  at my favourite spa then for brunch buffet at my favourite place to go for brunch. They both happen to be in the same hotel. It is going to be wonderful. Then I'll have to come home and work on my paper and/or get some reading done for school.
