Vancouver/Portland area outdoor

I'm getting married in July and we don't have a venue for the ceremony or reception yet! We'd like it to be in the same location, but not really. Ceremony in one part and then reception in a different part. We'd like it to be outdoors with electricity for the DJ. We're having a low key, backyard BBQ feel and my stepdad is going to man the grill so that saves on caterering, well at least that's the plan for now. I'd like to have lights and possibly a disco ball, and a park for the kids to play at. A fountain would be nice with alot of flowers for natural decor away from alot of houses so we won't have to worry about alot of onlookers and noise complaints.

I know I'm picky but if you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them and be grateful for any input! Thanks!

Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver is nice - they have a play area and a pretty nice gazebo, as well as a fountain and garden with a brick area that could be used for dancing.

if you are going to use a public park with alcohol you may have to check into getting security guards or that rental fencing - good luck!

Ok, there is this photographer I'm in love with and I look at their website often. They had a gallery of a wedding at Pomeroy Living History Farm in Yacolt, WA, right outside of Vancouver! Their website doesn't do it justice, here's the link:http://www.pomeroyfarm.org/ But you should really check it out and see if it's something you'd be interested in! I'm getting married at a barn in Chehalis, WA, I just love the whole atmosphere and style it creates! It would go really well with your BBQ idea!
