Shopping for Dresses on Sunday?

I got married almost a year ago and you ladies were a lot of help, so I'm hoping you can help me. I'm the maid of honor for my friend, she lives out of town, but is coming this weekend and would like to go shopping. She's attending a wedding on Saturday, so Sunday is the only day.

I looked at the places that I went and most of them are closed on Sunday. Where would you go?

The wedding Shoppe is open on Sundays during their "busy" times. I'd call and ask.

Not everyone loves them, but David's Bridal is usually open 7 days a week. I think.

I believe that Priscilla of Boston in Edina is open. I can't say enough positive things about them. Their price point starts around $800 for their Vineyard collection, so I'm not sure if that's within her budget. If you can, I'd ask to work with Raina. I went to over 20 dress shops (I know, crazy) and I found the best variety and quality here.

We had good luck at the Har-Mar (Roseville) David's Bridal on a Sunday.

Napier Bridal in West Saint Paul is closing and having a liquidation sale... so your friend might be able to get a sample for a very affordable price! They're open on Sundays from 12-5 and I think you have to call and make an appointment, but the procedure might be a bit different now that they're going out of business. I had a good friend that had a great experience there compared to a few other places and got a gorgeous dress!

Mary Kay's Bridal in St. Louis Park is open by appt on Sundays. I found my dress there. They have a pretty good selection and a lot of dresses that are reasonably priced.

I purchased my dress at Weddings by Tess in Apple Valley. She opened the salon for us on a Sunday afternoon. It was a blast having the place to ourselves, felt like star treatment, instead of fighting the crowds at David's Bridal. Her prices are reasonable. I would give Tess a call and just ask. She is SUPER sweet and awesome to work with.
