Kind of worried about the weather....

It has been so cold and rainy lately! I am worried about the weather for my June 5th wedding. Anyone else concerned about their date? Obviously, I know we can't control it, but it is nice to vent on here.

I feel the same way, our wedding is JUne 11th and the weather feels as though it is March.  I am hopeful things will be fine with the weather, but I must remember, that it will be just him and I after the day is over, and that is what is most important.

It said T-storms, then sunny, cool for June 1-5. What does that mean? T-storms earlier and cool on June 5th???

Don't worry about the weather!  The forecast changes so often and so much, that there's really no use to worrying (except to have a potential backup and/or tent if you have an outdoor ceremony).

We were married outside Oct 16th 2010 and the 10-day forecast called for 55 and cloudy that day.  As we got closer to the day, the forecast got a little warmer and still said cloudy.

The day of it was sunny the entire day and 77 degrees!!  It was amazing/ideal weather.

Actually it was warmer on our wedding day than my SIL's in July 2009.  It was only a high of 70 in mid July for her wedding (and it was cloudy).  Honestly, you never know how it will turn out.  Just hope for the best!

    HZ, I totally agree!

You can't hange the weather, so have a back up plan, and stop worrying about it. People still get beautiful pictures & guests still have fun at weddings....even when it rains!

Absolutely. We can't accurately predict the weather for this week much less guess what it might be on our days. Prepare for the worst & hope for the best. No matter what it does outside, your wedding day will be as perfect as you see it being.

Weather.com predicted our wedding day weather from 15 days out and it never changed and was right on.  Called for rain and T Storms early in the day and partly sunny. It rained all morning and the sun came out an hour before our outdoor wedding, and the evening was gorgeous also.

So, the predictions can be correct as well... My DH and I were glued to the TV on Firday night and they kept saying the rain would clear out and it would be sunny later in the day. I also prepared myself for it to be raining when I got up on my wedding day .. At the end of the day I was married to my prince and the weather really didn't make a difference in that.

We had a winter wedding and regardless of how cold it was, everyone had a blast. A summer wedding that is sunny can certainly have its trade offs like being super sticky hot and humid too so don't worry about it too much!
