restaurant- what to do?

weve decided to book at bootleggers bisto which is about 5 miles from the strip in vegas. it has everything we want.

except it holds up to 50 people. and we sent 57 people save the dates

Now im afraid EVERY SINGLE PERSON will show up and we wont have room.

Should i just find another place or take my chances?

    Honestly, I'd find another place just in case, because it's certainly possible that everyone will show up. In fact, you're counting on 7 people not showing up. And actually, now that I think about it, are you counting yourself and your FI in those numbers? Cause if the restaurant holds 50, and you are inviting 57, that's 59 total including bride and groom...

    Yeah, definitely look for another place.

    I'd look for another place but I think you'll be okay, most likely. 

    Definitely good to have a backup location however.

    thats what i told FI, we should have a bigger place just in case. i wish people could tell us now if they were coming or not lol...but plans change.

    Why actually address this in the etiquette Q&A. It all boils down to never inviting more guests than your venue can hold because there is always the chance that they will all come.
