Best Bridal Salons

I've already been to Brickhouse Bridal to try on gowns, but I wanted to feedback from other ladies on where they got their dress and if there are any places you would NOT recommend visting. I've heard Ventura's has a great selection and prices, but I've read a few unfavorable reviews. TIA!

Re: Best Bridal Salons

  • I hated Ventura's. It was AWFUL.

I loved Weddings by Debbie, Ivory Bridal Atelier, Now and Forever and ultimately I bought mine (and have had a WONDERFUL experience) at Houston Bridal Gallery.
  • Ha. I loved Venturas! My salesgirl was super sweet and really helpful.

I also enjoyed Marry Go Round and Princess Bridal.

  • I had a great experience at Houston Bridal Gallery... and if you are all about the 'look' of the place and having your own private area... then go there. But I also went to Panache, which is where I found my dream dress! The sales consultant Cherelle was SO nice and helpful. We were laughing and having an awesome time. She made me feel super comfortable! They had a huge selection, and the owner is always making sure that you get what you need. The owner has been there and checked on me every time I have been up there! It may not be the fanciest place on the inside, but the dresses are gorgeous and the staff was super nice. HIGHLY reccommend!!!

  • I loved Impression Bridal in the Galleria.  I bought my gown and our bridesmaid dresses there.  Had I not found my dress there the next stop was Bella-Deur Bridal where several of my friends had great experiences.

I also stopped in at Panache on 1960 and Cutten a few times and they were great.

I would not reccomend Princess Bridal as the day I was there it was like my consultant could not be bothered to help me.
  • Weddings by Debbie, Brickhouse Bridal and Impression Bridal all have great staff and a wide selection.
  • Impressions but the one off the belt way. Its an outlet so everythings discounted but there no ordering so you have to pick what they have.

The assistant manager Melissa helped me Friday and she was AMAZING!! I didn't know what I wanted and my best friend, sister & daughter (8) were with me helping me look. She was so patient with all of us especially my daughter who was bored and restless. The whole staff was great. We ended up staying past closing but they were so nice about it. I ended up buy a dress I never would have thought of. After being at SEVERAL other shops she made me feel important, special and pretty, something none of the others did.

    I hightly recommend them.
