I had my hair trial today and since I'm doing my own wedding makeup, i decided to play around with it today too.

BEFORE bwhaha! (no makeup, glasses, ponytail, stethoscope, scrubs)

AFTER (half up-do, makeup, contacts, veil, jewelry)

(not my wedding dress)

Fiance thinks my hair is too poofy

I liked it cause it's a little more dramatic unlike my makeup and accessories...and I didn't think it was too big once I had the veil on. I thought maybe he's just not used to it not being pulled back so tight like I always do. I guess I could do a little less poof. What do you all think? Keep it the way it is or cut back on the poof?

If you're used to seeing it really slick against your head (I am, I always keep mine back in a tight ponytail), then it will look really odd to you in a "loose" hairstyle. I think it looks perfect, not poofy.

LOL I don't think it looks poofy at all! I understand why he thinks it looks different, you might appreciate the slightly extra volume for pictures. And...it may not hold the poof he thinks is there

for the entire event! You are so pretty! I like that the transformation - you do look glamerous (I love that someone used that word, its perfect!) but you still really do look like you from the picture you posted.

If you like the "poof" keep it. It's a very special day, you don't have to look exactly the same as you normally do! Your FI probably just wasn't used to it yet.
