What do I wear when looking at wedding dress

Hi Ladies,

I have a question I am going to go look at dresses on saturday, but I am not sure what I should wear if I put dresses on.

I wore a nude strapless bra and nude full coverage underwear. The nude color is the best as white will show through some fabrics. Also wear a strapless bra in case you go with a strapless dress its hard to see how it really looks with bra straps sticking out. And I suggest the full coverage panties as to thong simply because im a bit modest and you will have someone helping you to get into the dresses so I guess thats a personal call but if you dont want a stranger to see your butt LOL ,I think thats the first time ive had to type butt on here, then full coverage is the way to go! As for the shoes you can take a pair of heels with you to get an idea but its still hard to tell until you have your actual shoes as they may be different heel sizes. I wore my flip flops and was bare foot while trying on dresses. I will take my shoes when I have my first fitting. Some stores also have bridal shoes that you can try on with your dress. I would recommend either a long line bra or a strapless bra you are comfortable in. All of your undergarments should be flesh tone. If you are thinking of going the fitted route, I would recommend a thong-style or something seemless so you don't have lines. Stay away from lace as it can show through some fabrics.

Also, if you are going to wear heals with your dress, bring some in the height you think you will wear

Agree with the strapless bra and full coverage panties. Although don't sweat it too much about other people seeing you in your underwear, every time I tried on gowns I put the gown on and all they did was clipped or laced the back up so I could get a better idea of the fit.

Full coverage are great for flowy/billowy gowns. If you are going with a fit and flare or a mermaid, I really reaaaaally suggest no-seam or thong if you are comfortable enough. I was in full coverage and couldn't get past the VPL :P
