Hi All! (this was posted before but I changed my username so I'm doing it again)
I'm sorry if this has been discussed before but it isn't letting me search the board, and I am new so I browsed back a few pages and didn't see anything.
I got engaged yesterday (yay!) and am not planning on having the wedding until October 2011 so I'm not jumping right in but I wanted to start getting some ideas. I live in Manhattan, probably moving to Brooklyn soon, and my to-be-in-laws are on Long Island. My fiance and I and both are families are conservative and want a fairly traditional conservative Jewish wedding. But he is the oldest and my family doesn't live in NY so we don't know any planners or vendors in the area. I want to work with a wedding planner who is familiar with Jewish weddings and Jewish mothers of the bride. Does anyone have any recommendations from their own experience or someone they know? It would be greatly appreciated!
